Free Egg McMuffins for all!

To celebrate National Breakfast Day 2014, McDonald's Singapore gave away more than 100,000 free Egg McMuffins to its customers across the island just like last year when the campaign started. At around 9am, my BFF and I went down to get ours from the branch at People's Park Complex. As expected, the queue wasn't long, and the person handing out the coupons was still seen with a huge stack of them.

Egg McMuffin FOC

Taste: 7.5/10

Upon unwrapping my hamburger, I was delighted to see that the cheese was melted well, complementing the slightly savoury chicken ham. While the yolk of the egg was still a bit moist, the muffin could be firmer for sure.

Hash Browns - Taste: 8/10

Roast Coffee - Taste: 8/10

To complete the breakfast, I took out a purple not for hot and crispy hash browns, as well as a cup of roast coffee with milk. The latter was creamy and had an adequate amount of milk, but it could be more aromatic.

Taste: 7.5/10

In conjunction with the event, most of the branches also served all-day breakfast till 6pm just now. Pika's advice: Let's look forward to National Breakfast Day 2015!
